Pioneer Patient Transfer Services has committed a generous $25,000 to The Children’s Foundation’s Reach for Success program that supports disadvantaged youth in their pursuit of post-secondary education.
The Children’s Foundations’ Reach for Success program has the mandate of helping youth gain skills and education to support their independence. Through Scholarships, Bursaries and Training and Development funding, youth who are affected by low income are given opportunities to chase their dreams as they transition to adulthood.
“Throughout the 90’s, my parents, Jennifer and Keith Shawcross fostered and adopted 6 children, and ultimately changed their lives for the better. They truly believed that all children deserve a safe place where the can be loved, grow and thrive. This memorial tribute is to honour their dedication and continue their legacy of creating opportunities for children.”
