Last night marked the final meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Belleville Ontario , which first began serving our community in 1923. For over a century, Kiwanis members have been champions for children — from launching the Safety First program in 1932, to the Well Baby Clinic in 1942, and most recently, donating over $55,000 to The Children’s Foundation’s Keep Baby Safe program. We were all smiles when we received a $50,000 donation from Elexicon Energy and let’s just say the celebration continued when we got back to the office! Thank you Elexicon! Your generosity helps local children and youth access opportunities to explore, learn, play, and thrive. Since 2019, Elexicon's golf tournaments helped raise over $1.1 million for charities.

The Children’s Foundation (TCF) is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon has raised over $57,000. This total includes all third-party contributions, auction results, and all donations. This week Domino’s restaurants locally rolled out the dough in support of The Children’s Foundation. Five Domino’s locations from Belleville, Trenton, Napanee and Cobourg sold a total of 4,240 medium pizzas with 100% of the proceeds going back to The Children’s Foundation. The Domino’s Dough Drive was organized by Seth Nagendran, who owns 4 stores and he asked Zoltan Nagy, owner of the Cobourg store, to join the event.
