The Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon totals are in: The Children’s Foundation raises more than $57,000

The Children’s Foundation (TCF) is thrilled to announce that the 2025 Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon has raised over $57,000. This total includes all third-party contributions, auction results, and all donations. The 12-hour, region-wide broadcast brought our community together this week and was across nine incredible local radio stations to champion kids in Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward Counties.

“The real winners are the children and youth right here at home,” said Ingrid Moore, Executive Director of The Children’s Foundation. “This outpouring of generosity means more kids can access the supports that help them explore, learn, play, and thrive - from essentials that remove barriers to participation, to programs that build confidence and open doors. Thank you to our radio partners, our donors, and our volunteers for making a very real difference.”

Throughout the day, radio stations aired powerful stories showcasing how donor support fuels TCF’s core programs - ensuring that children and youth across our region have the social and physical opportunities they need to succeed. From helping kids join a team or attend a camp, to removing financial barriers that keep young people on the sidelines, your donations turn possibility into progress. TCF extends heartfelt thanks to the nine participating radio stations for generously donating airtime and rallying listeners for 12 hours straight.
