May 23rd was a picture-perfect day on the golf course at Black Bear Ridge when 146 golfers came together for the 20th annual Play a Round for the Kids Golf Tournament. This tournament, presented by Team Guernsey Real Estate raised a record-breaking $78,805 in support of programming for underserved children and youth in the region.
“What an incredible day!”, says Melanie Cressman, Executive Director of The Children’s Foundation. “This tournament is a signature event for The Children’s Foundation where the money raised gives equitable opportunities for youth to enroll in positive activities that can change the trajectory of their lives. This year the fundraising goal was surpassed!! On behalf of the children and youth who will benefit from this event, thank you to everyone who sponsored, played, or volunteered.”
